To function strictly as a local video player, PlayExa Video Player requires standard Android permissions to discover and display media files stored on your Android device:

• READ_MEDIA_VIDEO (Android 13 and above)
• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 12 and below)

These permissions are used exclusively to access and display your local video files within the App.

These permissions are requested only to enable media browsing and playback. The App never uploads or shares your files with any external server.

4. Local Processing and File Management

• Zero Cloud Processing: All media rendering and data processing occur entirely locally on your device.
• File Operations: The App allows you to rename or delete your video files. Files are modified only after explicit user action and confirmation.
• No files are altered, removed, or shared automatically or without your direct consent.

5. Network Access

The core video playback functionality of PlayExa Video Player operates entirely offline using local video files stored on your device.

Optional user-initiated actions, such as clicking a button to contact support, will open your device’s default email client. Sending this email may require an active internet connection provided by that selected application. The App itself does not independently communicate over the internet.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in Android permission requirements or Google Play Developer Policies. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
